Here at Olive & Bud we have intentionally graded the sizing to allow for healthy growing room, suited to a more ‘oversized’ fit (much like how we like to dress & style ourselves)!
Please remember that a size guide is just a recommendation. It is impossible to achieve a one-size-fits-all approach to babywear since two babies of the same age can vary drastically in height and size. If your baby is on the bigger size, then buying to size will likely give a snug fit typical of the usual retail sizes. If your baby is on the smaller end of the scale, then we definitely recommend to size down. If your baby is an average size for his/her age, then buying to size will give an oversized fit and sizing down will give a snug fit. Ribbed fabric is designed to stretch. Therefore, we advise buying true to size so that your piece will last. We intentionally design the sleeves and body length to be long to enable the ability to roll up/ down depending on the individual baby.
